EPA EPCRA / SARA Title III (Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know) 304: Immediate and written follow-up notification for reportable releases

Facilities must provide immediate telephone notification to LEPC, SERC, and 911 when a reportable quantity (RQ) of any EHS or CERCLA hazardous substance is released to the environment, followed by written follow-up notice as soon as practicable. The written notice must include chemical identity, estimated quantity, time and duration, affected media, health risks, emergency contacts, response actions taken, corrective actions, and medical attention recommendations.
