EN 50126 / EN 50128 / EN 50129 - Railway Applications RAMS 50129:5.3.2: Guideline for structuring documentation

The safety management documentation is structured so that each element of the safety management process is traceable to its evidence: the safety plan, hazard log, safety requirements specification, verification and validation plans and reports, safety qualification test records, application conditions, safety justification and assessment reports are identified, cross-referenced and placed under configuration control, with the safety case referencing rather than reproducing large volumes of supporting documentation provided precise references are given and the base concepts and approaches are clearly stated.
