The evidence that the system, subsystem or equipment satisfies the stated conditions for accepting its safety is set out in a structured document justifying safety, the safety case, in the structure of clause 7, and before handover to a railway duty holder the conditions for acceptance are met, which includes handing over both the safety case and the report of the safety assessment.
