EN 50126 / EN 50128 / EN 50129 - Railway Applications RAMS 50126-1:7.7: Phase 6: Design and implementation

What does 50126-1:7.7 require?

Design and implement subsystems and components to meet the RAMS requirements and demonstrate they conform; refine the RAMS tasks of the integration, operation and maintenance, and performance monitoring phases; prepare operation and maintenance procedures including spare parts information especially for safety-related items, and training measures and material for operation and maintenance staff; prepare a manufacturing process able to turn out subsystems and components whose RAMS has been validated (considering stress screening against the environment, testing to improve RAM, and inspection and tests aimed at RAMS failure modes) and a process for integration ensuring RAMS conformity (measures against installation errors, testability); perform a RAM analysis and a hazard analysis; prepare a safety case per 8.2 justifying that the system as designed meets the safety requirements; update the RAMS validation plan; prepare installation and commissioning procedures; derive SRACs and limitations from the deviations identified. Deliverables: RAM analysis, hazard analysis, updated SRACs and hazard log, installation and commissioning procedures, operation and maintenance procedures, training measures, plans for further phases, updated plans, safety case(s).
