EAR - Export Administration Regulations 760.2(e): 760.2(e) Information about charitable and fraternal organizations

No U.S. person may furnish, or knowingly agree to furnish, information about whether any person is a member of, has contributed to or is otherwise associated with a charitable or fraternal organisation that supports a boycotted country (as a stated purpose or major activity), whether requested or volunteered; normal business information in a commercial context is not barred. The prohibition applies only to a U.S. person's activities in U.S. interstate or foreign commerce and only when taken with intent to comply with, further or support an unsanctioned foreign boycott (a boycott being at least one reason for the action).
