Not exports, reexports or transfers: launching items into space; transfers of technology or software between persons in the United States who are not foreign persons; in-country transfers abroad solely among non-foreign persons without release to a foreign or prohibited person; movements among the United States and its territories and possessions; and sending, taking or storing technology or software that is unclassified, secured with end-to-end encryption, secured with FIPS 140-2 or successor compliant cryptographic modules with key management per current NIST guidance (or equally effective means), and not intentionally stored in a Country Group D:5 country (data in transit on the internet is not stored). End-to-end encryption means data is not unencrypted between the originator's and the recipient's in-country security boundaries and the means of decryption are not given to any third party. Having access to data held in encrypted form meeting these criteria is not a release or export.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
