Release puts data under CM so only authorised data is used; archive and retrieval ensures product data can be recovered to reproduce, regenerate, re-test or change the product. Configuration items are identified and released before use in manufacture with defined release authority; product data (including change and problem report data) is retrievable from an approved source; retention procedures meet airworthiness needs and enable modification; and stored data integrity is kept for as long as the authorities require by preventing unauthorised change, selecting media, refreshing archives within media life, and storing duplicates in separate locations so no single event loses the archive.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
