DO-254 / ED-80 - Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware 7.2.1: 7.2.1 Configuration identification

Each configuration item is labelled unambiguously as a basis for control and reference: identification is set for data items, for each configuration item, each separately controlled component and each combination making up a product (to the detail the CM plan sets for ASICs, configured PLDs, boards and boxes); for COTS parts and previously developed hardware ahead of their entry into a baseline; and for each item ahead of its use in a new baseline, its citation by other data, or its use in manufacture.

What else in your programme already covers this

This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.

Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
