A person executing works in a street who has access to NUAR for that street and finds an item of apparatus that is not theirs, for which the prescribed information is missing from NUAR or incorrect, must (except in prescribed cases) take reasonably practicable steps to tell the undertaker that owns it and, if it cannot do so, enter the prescribed information into NUAR itself. Failure is an offence with a fine up to level 4.
