Connecticut Rules of Professional Conduct (Connecticut Practice Book) 6.4: Law reform activities affecting client interests

What does 6.4 require?

A lawyer may serve as a director, officer or member of a body working on reform of the law or its administration even where the reform may affect a client's interests; but when the lawyer knows that a decision the lawyer takes part in may materially benefit a client, the lawyer must disclose that fact, though not the client's identity.
