Connecticut Rules of Professional Conduct (Connecticut Practice Book) 4.4: Respect for the rights of third persons and inadvertently sent documents

What does 4.4 require?

A lawyer may not use tactics whose only real purpose is to embarrass, delay or burden a third person, and may not gather evidence by methods that infringe such a person's legal rights. On receiving a document or electronically stored information about the client's matter that was evidently sent by mistake, the lawyer must promptly tell the sender.
