Part 4A: Joint accounts – Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020

Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020 4A.7: Rule 4A.7: let any holder move to a more restrictive option and inform the other holders

Any joint account holder may at any time choose the non-disclosure option, and, where pre-approval applies, the co-approval option, using the management service. The data holder must then, as soon as practicable through its ordinary means of contacting the other holders, explain what the consumer data right is, which option applied before, that the holder has changed it and what now applies, and how to change it again (civil penalty).
