Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020 1.25: Rule 1.25: destroy unsolicited SR data as soon as practicable

If a primary data holder collects SR data from a secondary data holder purportedly under the rules but not as the result of seeking it, and no Australian law or court or tribunal order requires it to be kept, the primary data holder must destroy it as soon as practicable (civil penalty).
