Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020 1.10D: Rule 1.10D: document each sponsorship arrangement in a written contract

A sponsorship arrangement is a written contract between a person with unrestricted accreditation (the sponsor) and another person (the affiliate) under which the sponsor agrees to disclose to the affiliate, in response to its consumer data requests under subrule 5.1B(2), CDR data it holds as an accredited data recipient, and the affiliate undertakes to give the sponsor the information and access to its operations the sponsor needs to fulfil its obligations as sponsor. The arrangement may also let the sponsor make consumer data requests, or use or disclose CDR data, at the affiliate's request. An affiliate needs sponsored accreditation to make the consumer data requests the arrangement contemplates.
