Competition and Consumer (Consumer Data Right) Rules 2020 1.16A: Rule 1.16A: ensure each CDR representative complies with its arrangement and with Division 4.3A

An accredited person that is a CDR representative principal must ensure its representative complies with the arrangement, and breaches subrule (2) (civil penalty) if the representative fails to comply with a provision the arrangement must contain under subrules 1.10AA(1), (3) or (4), acts as if such a provision were absent, or does something permitted by subrule 1.10AA(2) that its arrangement does not provide for. It must also ensure the representative complies with Division 4.3A (the consent rules for representatives), and breaches subrule (4) (civil penalty) if the representative fails to. The 2024 Measures No. 1 amendments to this rule apply from 12 November 2025, 12 months after commencement (rule 501).
