Service levels are monitored, what has been achieved is reported and trends are identified, giving management information that helps it manage performance. Measures are set up to track service levels and gather the data. Performance is evaluated and reported formally and on a regular basis, including any departure from agreed values, and the report goes to business relationship management. Regular reviews forecast and pick out trends, with quality management practices built into the monitoring. For performance problems and adverse trends, action plans and remediation are agreed.
