The skills and competencies that each role needs are defined and managed, and there are regular checks that people are competent for their roles by virtue of education, training and experience, with competence kept current through qualification and certification schemes where that fits. The present skills of internal and external resources are identified. Shortfalls against what is required lead to action plans involving training (both technical and behavioural), recruitment, redeployment and changes in sourcing. Training material and programmes are reviewed regularly as requirements change, and knowledge repositories support development. Training covers knowledge of the enterprise, internal control, ethical behaviour, privacy and security. Regular reviews look at how skills are developing, succession planning included.
This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 2 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
