Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework
Chapter 3.2.3: Strengthening chemicals management systems (product stewardship processes) – Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework

Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework 3.2.3-a: Product stewardship across the life cycle

What does 3.2.3-a require?

Worker health and safety and environmental protection sit at the core of the business through safe management of chemicals across their life cycle, achieved by product stewardship: identifying risks early and managing them along the value chain, in sustained dialogue with suppliers, customers and others, and sharing information up and down the chain so chemicals are used and managed safely. The key processes are managing product design and improvement, prioritising products, characterising risk, supplying information on products, and managing and communicating product risk along the value chain.
