Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework
Chapter 3.2.3: Strengthening chemicals management systems (product stewardship processes) – Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework

Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework 3.2.3-b: Management of product hazard information (maturity example, question 3.4)

What does 3.2.3-b require?

The organisation manages the existing hazard information on its products. At Level 1 a process gathers available safety, health and environmental hazard information; at Level 2 the information is structured in a documented, regularly updated and readily available system; at Level 3 each item gets a reliability rating and is entered in a tracking system that traces every source and revision with a reliability indicator; at Level 4 the organisation shares as much internal information as possible with third parties, helping to limit animal testing and to enrich predictive databases.
