Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework
Chapter 2: From commitment to action (roles of companies, national associations, Cefic, ICCA; the eight Fundamental Features) – Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework

Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework 2.1.3-4: Cefic and ICCA: coordination roles

What does 2.1.3-4 require?

Cefic coordinates Responsible Care across its European membership: it steers the Network of Experts that leads programme changes in Europe, represents European interests in ICCA task forces, proposes initiatives to strengthen the network, answers members' queries, supports national associations, takes part in capacity building, manages collaboration with value chain partners, runs a yearly Responsible Care award and manages annual KPI reporting with published European aggregates. ICCA does the same at global level through its Responsible Care Leadership Group, whose goals include growth in China, India and Africa, new country participants, work with UN Environment, process safety improvement through the globally harmonised metric, multinational participation and Charter signature, stakeholder and supply chain engagement, harmonised approaches worldwide and annual KPI reporting by all members.
