Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework
Chapter 2: From commitment to action (roles of companies, national associations, Cefic, ICCA; the eight Fundamental Features) – Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework

Cefic Responsible Care Management Framework 2.1.1-1: Companies: formal commitment to Responsible Care

What does 2.1.1-1 require?

A senior leader (the CEO, a country manager or a site director, whichever the company's structure points to) signs the national association's Responsible Care guiding principles for each country where it has operating sites; those principles must be fully consistent with the Global Charter and may go further to meet regional needs. A multinational's CEO should also sign the Global Charter in the headquarters country, which commits the whole group's assets and operations. The signature tells staff and outside stakeholders how the business intends to operate.
