CCPA/CPRA 1798.125(a): Do not discriminate or retaliate against consumers who use their rights

A business must not deny goods or services, charge different prices, provide a different quality, or suggest any of these because a consumer exercised a CCPA right, and must not retaliate against employees, applicants or contractors who do so. A difference is lawful only if it reasonably reflects what the consumer's data is worth to the business; denials permitted by law and differences required by other law are not discrimination (11 CCR 7080).
