CCPA/CPRA CCR 7081: Calculate and document the value of consumer data

Where a price or service difference is offered, the business must use and record a reasonable, good-faith method to estimate what the consumer's data is worth, drawing on one or more listed approaches such as marginal or average value, revenue or profit attributable to the data, or the expenses tied to collecting and keeping it, and may base the estimate on the worth of data from everyone in the US rather than Californians alone.
