BREEAM - Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method Wst 06: Wst 06 Functional adaptability

To accommodate future changes of use: one credit where a study of functional adaptation strategy specific to the building by the client and design team, complete by the end of concept design, recommends measures to facilitate future adaptation (such as flexible services distribution, structural capacity for change, demountable partitions and access for replacement), and the measures are implemented by the end of technical design where practical and cost effective, with omissions justified in writing to the assessor.
