To divert operational waste from landfill or incineration: one credit where dedicated, clearly labelled space accessible to occupants and waste contractors, sized to suit the building's type, size and expected waste volumes, is provided for segregating and storing recyclable waste, with static compactors or balers and composting vessels where consistent volumes of packaging or compostable waste are likely, and dedicated space for the storage and handling of the waste streams the building's function generates (the Wst 03 minimum applies from Very Good).
