To reduce greenhouse gas emissions from refrigerant leakage: all credits where the building and any connected off-site system use no refrigerants; otherwise a prerequisite that systems with electric compressors comply with ISO 5149 or with EN 378 (parts 2 and 3) and ammonia systems with the Institute of Refrigeration code, one credit where refrigerants have zero ozone depletion potential, one to two credits where the direct effect life cycle carbon equivalent emissions of the systems, calculated with the Pol 01 calculator, are within the benchmark levels, and one credit for fixed, automatic detection of refrigerant leaks with automatic pump-down and isolation.
