BREEAM - Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method Man 04: Man 04 Commissioning and handover

To ensure planned handover and commissioning: one credit for a commissioning and testing schedule identifying the required commissioning, timescales and standards, an appointed person to monitor and programme it, and the principal contractor accounting for it in the programme; one credit where complex building services get an appointed specialist commissioning manager and commissioning follows best-practice codes including BMS commissioning; one credit for testing and inspecting the building fabric (thermographic survey and airtightness testing) with defects rectified; and one credit for a building user guide and a training schedule for the occupier and facilities team (the building user guide is the minimum standard at Excellent and Outstanding).
