A provider must not extend a student's enrolment if the student cannot complete in the expected time unless there are compassionate or compelling circumstances shown by demonstrable evidence, an intervention strategy is in place or being put in place, or an approved deferral or suspension has occurred. If it extends the enrolment, it must advise the student to contact Immigration about visa impacts, including any need for a new visa.
