A road vehicle carrying a placard load is placarded front and rear to show what it carries: for one class or division, that class or division label plus any subsidiary hazard labels; where more than one class is aboard during the journey, mixed class labels, or the full set of class and division labels for every primary and subsidiary hazard, or both. Combination vehicles and loads in placardable units, bulk containers, portable tanks or integral tanks need the extra placards described in 5.3.6.2 and 5.3.6.3.
