Australian Dangerous Goods Code Edition 7.8 (Consignor and Transport Duties)
Placarding of cargo transport units and placardable units (Chapter 5.3) – Australian Dangerous Goods Code Edition 7.8 (Consignor and Transport Duties)

Australian Dangerous Goods Code Edition 7.8 (Consignor and Transport Duties) 5.3.1.1.2: Placards match the primary hazard, with the mixed class label allowed for multi-class placard loads

What does 5.3.1.1.2 require?

Placards reflect the primary hazard of what the unit, bulk container or placardable unit holds. No placards are needed for any quantity of Division 1.4S explosives carried alone, and where a placard load spans more than one class or division the mixed class label (model 10) may stand in for several class placards where sections 5.3.3 to 5.3.7 allow it. Placards and emergency information panels must meet the size, colour and placement specifications in 5.3.1.3 and 5.3.1.4.
