Transport documentation and emergency information (Part 11) – Australian Dangerous Goods Code Edition 7.8 (Consignor and Transport Duties)

Australian Dangerous Goods Code Edition 7.8 (Consignor and Transport Duties) 11.1.3: Carry the transport documentation in the cabin, in the emergency information holder for placard loads, readable by the driver

What does 11.1.3 require?

Transport documentation is carried in the cabin of every road vehicle transporting dangerous goods. A vehicle with a placard load has an emergency information holder under Chapter 11.2 and the documentation travels with the emergency information inside it; a vehicle below a placard load keeps the documentation in any holder fitted or somewhere prominent in the cabin. The documents must be sized and formatted to fit the holder and must not be sealed in an envelope or otherwise kept so that the driver cannot read it.
