Transport documentation and emergency information (Part 11) – Australian Dangerous Goods Code Edition 7.8 (Consignor and Transport Duties)

Australian Dangerous Goods Code Edition 7.8 (Consignor and Transport Duties) 11.1.1.4.2: Sequence of the description: identifiers first and in order when written as a string

What does 11.1.1.4.2 require?

The five identifiers (UN number, name, class or division, subsidiary hazard and packing group) come before the rest of the description; where the description is typed as a single string, as on the multimodal form, those five appear in that order with nothing in between except as the Code allows. Anything a competent authority or another mode requires goes after the description, and a sketch of where the goods sit in the unit is encouraged.
