Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 Schedule 2) s20: s 20 Do not engage in unconscionable conduct within the meaning of the unwritten law

A business must not, in trade or commerce, engage in conduct that is unconscionable as the general law (equity) understands it, for example knowingly taking advantage of another party's special disadvantage. The section does not apply to conduct already caught by s 21.
