Australia Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) s72: s 72 Allow HSR training chosen by the HSR, within 3 months, paid, with costs met

At the request of an HSR, the PCBU allows the HSR to attend a course of WHS training approved by the regulator, which the HSR is entitled to attend under the regulations and which the HSR chooses; as soon as practicable within 3 months of the request it allows paid time off to attend, and it pays the course fees and other reasonable costs. Compliance by one PCBU of a multi-business work group counts for all. If agreement is not reached within the time, either party may ask the regulator to appoint an inspector to decide, and the PCBU then allows the course and pays the costs the inspector decides.
