The PCBU: consults, so far as reasonably practicable, with any HSR for a work group of its workers on WHS matters; confers with an HSR whenever reasonably requested to ensure the workers' health and safety; gives the HSR access to information it has about hazards and risks at the workplace affecting the work group and about the workers' health and safety; with worker consent, allows the HSR to attend interviews on WHS between the worker (or a group of workers) and an inspector or the PCBU; provides the resources, facilities and assistance reasonably necessary or prescribed for the HSR's powers and functions; allows a person assisting the HSR access to the workplace where needed; lets the HSR accompany an inspector during inspections of the work group's area; and gives any other assistance the regulations require.
