Schedule 1 Part 2: other essential principles (clauses 7 to 15) – Australia Therapeutic Goods (Medical Devices) Regulations 2002

Australia Therapeutic Goods (Medical Devices) Regulations 2002 sch1-13B: Essential principle 13B: make the current software version number and build number accessible and identifiable to users, in English

What does sch1-13B require?

Where a device is, or incorporates, software, users must be able to find and identify the current version number and current build number of that software. Both must be given in English (other languages may be added). This supports field safety notices, recalls and UDI device record changes, which turn on the software version a user is running.
