Australia Therapeutic Goods Act 1989
Chapter 4A and Chapter 5: vaping goods, advertising and generic information, counterfeit goods and product tampering – Australia Therapeutic Goods Act 1989

Australia Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 s42T-42U: Notify the Secretary within 24 hours of becoming aware of actual or potential tampering, or a substantial risk of it, with any therapeutic goods you supply, manufacture or sponsor, and within 24 hours of receiving any information or demand about tampering

What does s42T-42U require?

Anyone who supplies, makes or sponsors therapeutic goods (or plans to) has 24 hours, from learning of actual or potential tampering with any therapeutic goods or of a substantial risk of it, to tell the Secretary, where the person knows of the tampering or is reckless about it. A second 24-hour clock runs from receipt of any information or demand that, openly or by implication, concerns tampering, where the person knows that or is grossly negligent about it as the section defines. Each failure is an offence (12 months or 1,000 penalty units). Section 42U defines actual and potential tampering.
