Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule)
Part 2-3 Divisions 1 to 3: corporate plans, performance measures, annual performance statements and audit committees (sections 16E to 17) – Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule)

Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (PGPA Rule) 16E(1)-(2): Corporate plan coverage and content: prepare a plan spanning at least four reporting periods that states its basis, the entity's purposes, key activities, operating context (environment, capability, risk oversight and key risks, cooperation, subsidiaries) and performance measures with targets

What does 16E(1)-(2) require?

Each Commonwealth entity's corporate plan covers at least four reporting periods starting with the one it is prepared for. It must open with a statement that it is prepared for paragraph 35(1)(b) of the Act and identify the periods covered, then set out the entity's purposes, the key activities it will undertake to achieve them, and its operating context: the environment, the strategies for building needed capability, an outline of how risk is overseen and managed with the key risks and their treatment, significant contributions from cooperating bodies, and the contribution of any subsidiary. For each period covered it must show how performance will be measured and assessed through performance measures meeting section 16EA and, where reasonably practicable, targets for them.
