Chapter 3: Commonwealth companies, duties of directors, audit committee, government policy, corporate plans, budget estimates, annual reports and audit (sections 88 to 99) – Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act)

Australia Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) 95: Corporate plan for Commonwealth companies: the directors prepare a corporate plan at least once each reporting period, give it to the responsible Minister and the Finance Minister, comply with and publish it under the rules, address the Government's key priorities where the company's purposes relate to them, cover subsidiaries, and follow the rules when varying it

What does 95 require?

At least once in every reporting period the directors of a Commonwealth company must produce a corporate plan (whatever it is called) and deliver it to the responsible Minister and the Finance Minister as the rules direct, and the plan must satisfy the rules on content and publication. If the Government has published its key priorities and objectives and the company's purposes bear on them, the plan must show how the company's activities will help achieve them. A company with subsidiaries covers them in the plan with the prescribed particulars for each, and a variation of the plan must follow the rules on variations.
