Training under C31 must cover, where applicable: (a) how the GMOs dealt with in the facility are transported, stored and disposed of; (b) identifying the risks those GMOs pose; (c) procedures for spills and decontamination; (d) procedures for emergencies; (e) personal protective equipment; (f) what has to be reported; (g) the certification requirements; (h) the conditions of any GMO licence covering dealings in the facility; and (i) how the facility is built and run, as relevant to each person's role.
