Part B: Conditions of certification – Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Large Scale Facility (Version 3.1)

Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Large Scale Facility (Version 3.1) C15: Inspection at least every 12 months

What does C15 require?

At least once every 12 months the facility, LWTS included, must be inspected by a person whose training, qualifications, experience or a mix of these gives them the knowledge and skills to judge whether it complies with the conditions of certification, and a record of the extent of compliance must be made. The guideline notes that C68 requires inspection records to be kept, that the OGTR's annual inspection checklist may be used but is not mandatory, that records of inspections should go to the Regulator only on request, and that an OGTR inspection counts as an inspection for this condition.
