Anyone who intends to deal with GMOs in the facility has to be trained in the Part B conditions of certification, with any exemptions or extra conditions or requirements set by the Regulator or a delegate, and in how to use the facility's equipment, and has to sign and date a record of that training. The guideline notes that a person becomes an authorised person under C6 once trained, having signed the record and given it to the certification holder, and that C68 requires training records.
