Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Large Scale Facility (Version 3.1) C29: Annual testing of testable backflow devices

What does C29 require?

Any testable backflow prevention devices fitted (under AS/NZS 3500.1) need testing at least once every 12 months, following AS 2845.3; the tester must be a licensed plumber holding accreditation to test backflow prevention devices. Failures must be fixed and the device retested until it complies. The guideline notes that C68 requires test records.
