Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Large Grazing Animal Facility (Version 1.1) B15: Barrier checks after storms and other damaging events

What does B15 require?

Immediately after any storm, heavy rain or other event that could damage the barriers, the facility barriers must be inspected by someone whose training, qualifications or experience (or a mix of these) gives them the knowledge and skills to assess them for damage. Any breach or damage must be fixed as soon as practicable once detected, and whenever the barriers are damaged, immediate steps must be taken to stop the GM animals in the facility from getting out; the guideline gives temporary fencing as an example.
