Decontamination equipment found to be faulty, where the fault has not yet been fixed, must be clearly marked as defective and kept out of use for decontaminating GMOs, waste or equipment from GMO dealings until it is repaired. Faulty decontamination equipment must itself be decontaminated before maintenance or repair.
