At least once every 12 months a person whose training, qualifications or experience, or a mix of these, gives them the knowledge and skill to assess compliance must inspect the room against the two groups of Part B conditions headed General conditions and Facility and fittings conditions. A report of the inspection recording how far the room complies with those conditions must be made, and copies of the latest five years of reports must be kept and given to the Regulator on request. The guideline notes the OGTR web site offers an optional checklist for these inspections, and that reports should not be sent in unless the Regulator asks for them.
