Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Constant Temperature Room (Version 2.1) B17: Before significant structural changes

What does B17 require?

Ahead of any significant structural change that would affect GMO containment in the room, the applicant must either (17.1) ask the Regulator in writing to suspend the certification or (17.2) ask the Regulator in writing to vary the conditions so dealings can go on in a part of the facility the changes do not touch. The guideline gives temporary partitioning as an example, keeping GMOs contained in one end of the facility while work goes on in the other.
