Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Animal Facility (Version 3.2) B28: Reviewing the backflow assessment

What does B28 require?

This condition applies only where dealings there use GM micro-organisms. An existing backflow assessment has to be reviewed if (a) a new cross-connection, or any device or system that could contaminate a water supply, is linked, directly or indirectly, with any part of the facility's water service; or (b) connections made before certification were judged not to need backflow prevention but a new GMO whose risks differ from those of the GMOs assessed at certification is about to be handled.
