Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Animal Facility (Version 3.2) B12: Inspection at least every 12 months

What does B12 require?

At least once every 12 months a person with the knowledge and skills to judge compliance, gained through training, qualifications, experience or a mix of these, must inspect the facility against the General conditions and the Facility and fittings conditions. The inspection must produce a report recording how far the facility complies; the latest three years of reports must be retained, and made available to the Regulator on request. The guideline notes the OGTR publishes a checklist that may be used for this but is optional, and that the Regulator should not be sent reports unless it asks for them.
