Australia OGTR Guidelines for Certification of a PC2 Animal Facility (Version 3.2) B13: Signs at each access door

What does B13 require?

Every access door must carry (a) the current OGTR-supplied PC2 sign and (b), if any dealings there use GM micro-organisms (viral vectors included) whose parent organism meets the AS/NZS 2243.3 criteria for Risk Group 2, a biohazard symbol. The signs go on or beside each access door, emergency exits excepted, so that anyone entering can clearly see it is a certified PC2 facility. Signs may sit on a removable fixture such as a backing board or plastic frame, provided it is fixed to the door or wall and never moved to another location.
